✰ PENANG ✰

4:12 pm

This post will be about another spontaneous trip, remember the last trip I had to LEGOLAND with my friends? this time with more people including my sisters and more friends hehe :D YAY!
I am sure that most of us have heard the quote "things are better unplanned". In my opinion, this quote is so true for most of the times! Like the trips that I had... I think its more fun and exciting? Don't you agree?  So let's start!
There were 8 of us in total so we drove 2 cars and we left the house around 3.30 a.m I think and reached Penang at 8 something in the morning. *WOOTS WOOTS*

Didn't book any hotel the night before as I said it was a spontaneous trip, lucky that we got rooms to stay. Its not a hotel, its more like a resident house : "Transfer Lodge & Mushroom Cafe

This lodge is really artistic and its comfy, but we stayed there for only one night though, how I wish we could stay longer!

So after putting our stuffs we planned out head out right away to get some food BUT it did not happened that way hahaha all of us were tired so we took nap instead...after about an hour or two then only we headed out. Actually, we didn't really know where we were going, so we ask Uncle Google :P
anyway we ended up having our lunch by the street…here’s some of the food we had :D
Duck meat noodle
Laksa
Then, the next destination, we went to eat CENDOL! It was just perfect for the hot and scorching weather! This cendol is knows as the most famous cendol, as you can see the pictures below, it was quite crowded and the queue was long. OM NOM NOM. Oh well, it was good! :D
After having the yummy cendol, finally we got to have some fun! I’m sure everyone who went or planned to go to Penang, had been or will go to George Town, Armenian Street. The street art, wall paintings were all awesome! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see all of it. We rented some bikes and the bike rental costs RM10/each. We went around the street for 2 and half hour, it was tiring need not to say. But but but, we had real good fun riding the bikes around the place!
Le girls ❤
Le sisters ❤
We’ll definitely come here again next time! :D

Guess what’s next??…Its time for dinner! We had our dinner at Soon Lai Seafood. IT’S HEAVEN HERE loll The food was so GOOD, YUMMY, DELICIOUS! Very very satisfying! We ordered 3 sevings of kangkong belacan, a plate of buttered shrimps, a plate of fish (I don’t remember what it is called), and then 2 plates of chilli crabs (this was for 13 people! It was small crabs tho)

See how much we all ate? Hahaha must be wondering how much it costs us right? With these much food, the total was RM 261.20. Cheap? Yes! Satisfied? Of course! So people, when you visit Penang, you have to come here. Definitely worth it!

The next morning, the day for us to head back to PJ :(
but before that, we had our breakfast at Transfer Road Roti Canai and this place is famous for its delicious roti canai! It is opposite the lodge we stayed, so good huh? :D

Roti canai with chicken curry. NICE!!!

After breakfast, we went to the BEACHHHHH!

The beaches weren’t all pretty but it comes nice on the pictures right? :P
This was at Batu Ferringhi Beach. It took us some time to find which beach to go and it was hard finding the entry to the beach. Anyway, we played at the beach for almost an hour :)

Who doesn't love playing at the beach? Look at my happy faces :P

Last destination we went was to get some gifts for our family and friends. It was “Gartien” which is famous for its pineapple cake. A box costs RM 38 and 10 pieces inside the box. Pretty packaging don't you think? :)

So that’s all for my Penang trip with my sisters and friends. Would definitely come visit here again!
