Hi Hi. So I am back
to blogging, like finally. Its been ages since the last time I blog…..
This blog will be
about my previous trip to Bangkok. This trip I would say, not a very
well-planned and also it was a tight-budget kinda trip! Hahahha you will know
why~~
Bangkok is a
shopping paradise for girls maybe for guys too, where many things are cheaper
not only clothes but also the food! Who wouldn’t agree, right? It’s a country
I’d love to visit often, its nearby and is also a top tourist destination!
I went to Bangkok
with my boyfie and my sister. Yes, just the three of us. It was a 6D5N trip
from 26th September 2014 to 1st October 2014. HAHAHA. That was like almost 2
months ago? But I think it’s still worth the post coz I want to share it with
you guys! So if any of you are going to BKK, do read this post and I hope its
helpful! :)
We took Airasia
from KLIA2. The flight was delayed for an hour and we had to move from one
boarding room to another. Too much hassle guys, seriously. We were so excited
to go to Bangkok but they made us wait and wait. Hate that! Anyway, we finally took off at 7.50-ish and reached Bangkok at 10 p.m. (in Malaysia
its 9 p.m.). It was late and we took taxi to our hotel, which cost us 400THB.
Oh oh. Just letting you all know, we converted the money, which was like the
easiest way for us, just by removing one “0” from Thai currency. For example,
400THB = RM 40. Very easy right? Hahaha
Got a taxi and heading to hotel! Oh, this driver was really nice! :)
The hotel we stayed
was S2S Boutique Resort Bangkok. Thais called it “Moeleng” Boutique Resort or
maybe they changed the name of it. I booked the hotel through Expedia. The reason why I chose this hotel because not only its affordable but also because it's located in Pratunam, it's closed to Platinum Mall, Siam Paragon, etc.
You can get more information here :)
We
stayed here for the whole trip, we didn't move hotel here and there. It cost
around RM500 for the middle room, for the three of us. For your information, when I booked the hotel, I booked for 3 person. But when we reached the hotel, the receptionist only allow 2 person in the room as the room only have two single beds, unless we pay extra so the other person can stay in the room and will get a pillow and towels, and we didn't ordered extra bed because we will combine the two single beds :) So for the extra person, one night costs 300THB=RM 30. Thus, we payed 1500THB extra, and in total the hotel cost ±RM650. I would say it was
affordable and the service was good. They cleaned the room every morning and
provide water for us too! Well, it was a good place to stay and for that price!
Thumbs up!
it's so pretty from outside~
outside our room~
taadaa~~ this is our room :)
After putting our luggage in the room, we were so hungry but had no idea where to get food. We asked the receptionist and he said at this hour all restaurants nearby should be closed already. Luckily, there was 7/11 nearby which was like less than 10 minutes’ walk from out hotel. We bought microwave meal and some snacks. Then head back to the hotel and enjoyed our super later dinner!
Rice with minced chicken basil, Spaghetti Aglio Olio, Fried Rice and snacks~
So that was our very very short first day in Bangkok!
I'll continue about my Bangkok trip on the next post. It's all about the SHOPPING PARADISE~ ❤
